M.Pharmacy
Eligibility:
For M.Pharmacy admissions, candidates must have passed B.Pharm with at least 55% marks for general category.
Candidates belonging to Schedule Casts (SC) / Schedule Tribes and other Backward Classes (OBCs), the marks should be 50% in B.Pharma.
Gate qualified (With Valid gate score) candidates are preferred. Non-gate candidates are also eligible.
For Appearing in Annual exams, one should have 75% attendance in all subjects.
The duration of the course of M.Pharmacy shall be 2 years.
Pharmaceutics:
Pharmaceutics is concerned with the strategies by which biologically active compounds are presented to the body so as to elicit an optimal response. It includes are the design, preparation and testing of drug-delivery systems. There are two major areas of emphasis found in the current research in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Novel Drug Delivery (Nanotechnology based SR, CR & Targeted delivery and Bio pharmaceutics (drug formulation, physical/industrial pharmacy, mechanisms and modeling of drug transport, molecular and cellular pharmaceutics) & Pharmacokinetics(Rate process, ADME Kinetics).
